New year - not only a wonderful holiday, giving us a few days off in a row. It is also an excellent opportunity to encourage the child to the production of a variety of homemade.
Today we offer you make - alone or with your child - very simple, but very nice garland, which you can decorate the walls and furniture. Garland will consist of colorful Christmas trees, symbolizing the approaching holiday.
What you will need:
• several sheets of colorful wrapping paper (or any other more or less thick paper with elegant print)

• 1-3 meter thick strong thread or thin braid, preferably a nice bright color.

What you need to do:
1. On the back side of the paper using a ruler and pencil to draw the elongated triangles - as long as they fit on the sheet. Depending on whether you wish to receive the result, the triangles may be of different or same size. We decided to do the same:
2. On each triangle, draw a pencil "notch" at an equal distance from each other, as shown below:
3. Cut out triangles of paper, fold in half along the vertical line and the notch on the drafted "nicks":
